Our Customer Focus

From the time you purchase your home, through the construction process, to the close of escrow, and beyond to the expiration of the various limited warranties, Hansell Mitzel Homes employees are here to use their best efforts to assure that our relationship with our customers is of the highest quality possible.

At Hansell Mitzel Homes, It's About Building A Quality Relationship

At Hansell Mitzel Homes we continually strive to build a zero-defect home. Because we are dealing with many products Nature gives us, however, and several parts of a new home are hand-crafted, we know perfection is not possible. Nonetheless, all of our processes and procedures are focused on continuous improvement toward that zero-defect goal. Hansell Mitzel Homes is about more than just building a quality home; it's about building a quality relationship with you, our customer. We trust that your satisfaction will ensure your return to us for your future housing needs, and we hope that we have earned your recommendation as your builder of choice to your family, friends and others.

With respect to construction quality, all of our homes go through a series of strict building code inspections to assure that you are purchasing a quality constructed home. Hansell Mitzel Homes contributed to the publication of national building standards outlined in the Residential Construction Performance Guidelines published by the National Association of Home Builders. You can be assured that your home has been built to industry standards from the footings to the finished product.

Our expectation of superintendents, inspectors and vendors is to continually strive for that "zero-defect" product. Before a Hansell Mitzel home is finally complete, it must pass a series of internal inspections to ensure that our quality standards are met. Senior executives of Hansell Mitzel Homes take an active part in this process.

Each step is dependent upon the completion of the preceding steps. Weather and other conditions may cause delays. However, Hansell Mitzel Homes construction procedures are designed to complete your home in an efficient, controlled manner. Construction will not take place each day, as there must be time built in for inspections, orientations, weather, coordination with other homes, etc. Every effort is made to complete homes on schedule, and we are generally in a position to provide a closer estimate of the completion schedule following the truss delivery.

Our Quality Assurance Process

A very important step in your home buying experience is the Pre-Closing Orientation and Walk-Through. This usually takes place a few days before final close of escrow. The Quality Assurance Manager conducts the orientation. You should make every effort to ensure that in the event of co-buyers, both buyers attend the orientation.

At the completion of your home, we formally introduce you to your new home and its many features by performing a formal walk-through, demonstrating the operation of appliances, answering questions and providing instructions with respect to location of shut-off valves, various safety features, and the operation of your new home's various features and systems.

In addition, you will have an opportunity to perform a quality control check with us to make sure that the home is complete to your reasonable satisfaction, noting any items that need attention prior to your move-in.

Your Hansell Mitzel home is protected under the national America's Choice 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty program in addition to our one year limited warranty. You will be provided with information about the warranty programs at your walk-through.

We hope that after you have experienced Hansell Mitzel Homes quality, you will feel we have accomplished our objective. To ensure that we do, we will ask you to assist us by giving us feedback so we can measure our progress at several key points during our relationship.
